IBP Psychological Services offers diagnostic and outpatient therapeutic psychological services for children, adolescents and adults.
Over the past 25 years we have acquired, adapted, developed and administered a wide range of psychological assessment tools. Through these we are able to conduct comprehensive academic and behavioral assessments and provide consultation to parents, teachers, doctors and other professionals working with the child.
Psychological Assessment Program
IBP provides psychological assessments for children, youth and adults. Our specialized assessment clinical team conducts full psychological assessment batteries (cognitive, emotional and projective testing), learning disability assessments, and attention –deficit/hyperactivity disorder assessments. We also consult with parents and schools about educational accommodations and coping with academic difficulties.
Child, Adolescent, Family and Couples Therapy
We provide child, adolescent and family therapy for vulnerable children and adolescents, parenting support counseling and parenting training, school consultations, family therapy, or an integration of any of the above
We serve children who suffer from depression, behavioral difficulties, attention-deficit / hyperactivity disorder, and anxiety symptoms.
We also help with parenting issues, parent-child/parent-adolescent conflict, difficulties with peers, and difficulties at school, difficulties coping with stressful events, self-esteem issues, family problems/conflicts, bereavement and toileting problems.
General Adult Psychotherapy
We provide both short and long term psychotherapy on an outpatient basis. We work with the full range of mental health conditions. Our specialties include cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic/interpersonal, and integrative approaches to therapy. We serve clients who experience anxiety symptoms e.g. social anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, obsessive hoarding, panic disorder, generalized anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder as well as relationship or family difficulties, couples issues, and general mental health problems and life stress issues.
